Dedicated Internet

CompuBasix can provide customers needing higher bandwidth than regular dial-up access provides with several options. Below are various options for higher speed services we have available.

ISDN

Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is a service that allows high-speed digital communication across already-existing public telephone network facilities.

This higher speed service can connect a wide variety of equipment in several ways - making it an ideal medium for integration into existing wide area networking infrastructures that have outgrown their traditional plain old telephone system (POTS) bandwidth requirements.

ISDN is the next logical step for connectivity of sites over the wide area that need more bandwidth and reliability than POTS connections, but don't need the volume of bandwidth and cost of higher speed dedicated links such as frame relay or DS1.

DS1 (T1)

If you need more bandwidth than ISDN can provide, a DS1 circuit may be the solution. DS1 lines provide 1.54 MBps of dedicated bandwidth.

Today, every business needs a fast, reliable connection to the Internet, and that's what a DS1 (T1) connection can provide.

Supporting data transfer rates of 1.544 Mbps, this access solution is often used for Internet research, online marketing programs, company e-mail and transmitting large data files.
