American composer Greg Sanders latest composition "Dreams and Faith [The Solomon Valley Anthology] for band was premiered spring 2003 by the Fort Hays University Winds in Kansas, Dr. Robert Conger, conductor.  It was also performed by several High Schools and Honor Bands from Kansas.

The work consists of four movements; I. Enchanted Sky, II. Freedom, A Long Time Coming, III. Distant Hymns, and IV. His "Coventry Variant" was performed at Chicago's Symphony Hall in December, 2002 by the Valparaiso University Band.  His work "MeTro!" was performed on 2/25/03 at the Tsai performance hall of Boston University.

Recent additional performances of Dr. Sanders works have been in Japan, Great Britain, Germany, Hong Kong, and Australia.

His work MeTro! has just been released on a new CD "Spanning the Century" by the Boston Metropolitan Wind Symphony and is available at: www.mws-boston.org/recordings/spanningthecentury .
